Tis the season for spending time your community! Grab your favourite holiday-themed beverage, a snack, and get comfy for a cozy evening with your NGM community as we come together to watch the award-winning documentary We Will Be Brave.
As we approach the holiday season, we invite you to join us for a special screening of We Will Be Brave, a powerful documentary that follows the journey of Toronto’s “Good Guise” collective. These artists - ranging from photographers to beatboxers, poets to martial artists - are using their craft to spark conversations about healthy masculinity and break the cycle of shame and punishment. Check out the trailer here!
Through their stories of personal evolution, healing, and brotherhood forged in vulnerability, We Will Be Brave offers a deep and compelling exploration of how masculinity can be redefined through art and connection.
This event is also a chance to hang out with your fellow Next Gen Men community members before we all wind down for the holidays. After the screening, we’ll hang about to discuss the film and reflect on what resonated with us.
🧡 Let’s come together to relax, connect, and enjoy a thought-provoking film on the topics that unite us as a community: gender justice, supporting men and boys' well-being, and healthy masculinities.
P.S. – If you were able to attend our NGM Turns Ten event in Calgary, you’ll remember filmmaker Chrisann Hessing and Good Guise founder Julien Diego from our panel discussion. 👀
