As you watch the young boy in your life grow up, you begin to see early reflections of the man he is becoming.
It’s rewarding, but can also be worrying - how do you soften the hard edges of boyhood? How do you support them in navigating powerful cultural norms about what it means to be a man? How can you help them develop the skills to thrive into adulthood?
One of the most important things you can do is provide him with opportunities to develop resilience and self-confidence by forming meaningful relationships and taking on new challenges.
Our interactive webinar designed for parents and guardians will explore the challenges boys face today and how wilderness experiences can provide the guidance they need. Our Rites of Passage Expeditions (ROPE) are wilderness adventures rooted in positive masculinity. They are purpose built to help masculine-identifying youth build confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to their true selves.
With over three years of experience leading these transformative programs in Ontario and the Rocky Mountains, we’ve seen how outdoor expeditions can nurture essential skills like teamwork, leadership, empathy, and communication.
In this virtual session, we’ll share:
The skills and resilience boys can develop through wilderness expeditions.
The role of rites of passage in helping boys navigate the transition to adulthood.
Practical ways parents can support their sons on this journey.
Join ROPE Expedition Leader and Next Gen Men’s Director of Programs, Jonathon Reed, to discover how our ROPE programs can make a lasting impact on your son’s growth. A Q&A session will follow to answer your questions.
This session will run twice on February 5th: 8pm - 9pm ET and 9pm - 10pm ET.
