NGM Thoughts 02: The Texans Got It Right
The other day I screwed up.
I addressed a table full of women as ‘you guys.’ *facepalm* Kindly, nobody called me out on it. As the activity progressed I seized a chance to redeem myself. Someone mentioned the impact of language.
I owned my mistake from a few minutes ago and went on to explain that ‘y’all’ is probably one of the most inclusive phrases out there. Next time you’re referring to a group of people, let out your southern drawl.
